Chennai International Airport (MAA) is building a new integrated terminal, T2, which includes both an international and a domestic terminal. The new domestic terminal and the expanded international terminal increased the area to 142,700m², increasing capacity to over 23 million passengers annually.

Denver International Airport (DEN) in the US has embarked on a new development project to modernise the Jeppesen terminal, improve services and accommodate increasing passenger traffic. The project was initially planned to accommodate 50 million passengers but served 69 million in 2019 and returned to pre-pandemic numbers in 2022.

The West Gate expansion project at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will expand the terminal area beyond its existing gates 33 and 34, adding a gross area of 7,850m² across three levels on the west side of the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The $165m project is estimated to be completed by the end of 2026.
