Pre-engineered Prefabricated Airport Traffic Control Tower Cabins

AJT’s team of designers works closely with the airports or authorities as well as the tower shaft designers to glean the requirements of the new cabin. Our experienced architects and engineers have worked together on over 60 ATCT projects worldwide.

Our detailed design and product data are submitted for review and we begin fabrication upon approval.

Our steel framework is fabricated in a controlled shop environment with certified tradesmen. The cab is then outfitted with the exterior envelope with licensed siding and roofing personnel. The glazing and storefront system is installed as well. The interior is outfitted with a multitude of options to include complete console furnishings and raised computer flooring as well as ceiling and dimmable lighting fixtures. Break area sink and appliances as well as isolated equipment electrical circuits and multipoint grounding are other options.

Once completely tested, the cab is split, shrink wrapped and shipped for installation on site.

Design of Airport Traffic Control Towers

AJT has been successful in providing 26 high-quality, low-cost designs for Level I airport traffic control tower projects.

Interior Build out

Bare, Partial or Full Interior Build out is available. We provide completely custom plywood/laminate cabinets at a fraction of the steel console price. We can also provide the cab as console ready for installation of the steel consoles.

Size, Configuration and Adaptability

Our prefab cab are available in all sizes.  We will adapt to your tower shaft size.
Minimum size of 6m horizontally across flats recommended, 7.3m is our standard (pictured above). We have completed an 11m cab. Eight sided cabs are well suited for reflectance.  We have provided 4 and 6 sided cabs with a 10 sided unit in design. Our cab design provides a full 360 degree view.
