Klaus Dengler, Managing Director Europoles Suisse GmbH), René Vuillemin, (Managing Director Europoles Suisse GmbH)

As airports grow and develop technologically, airport lighting systems also have to meet increasingly higher requirements. The trend is away from mere lighting poles towards flexible multi-functional systems.

Ansir is an Australian company founded in 1972 as an electrical engineering and contracting company. After many years as a provider of solutions to the materials handling industry, we acquired the business of long-time baggage-handling systems provider AP Morling, a company with over 30 years’ experience in the airline industry. Ansir Systems brings together the skills and experience of both companies to a single point of contact.

Every element of our systems, be it a mechanical, electrical, control or software system, can be seen in daily operation at airports worldwide, reliably sorting and transporting hundreds of thousands of bags.

Baggage-handling systems

Ansir Systems offers a complete product range of baggage-handling system components. Our products are engineered for dependability and maintainability, ensuring smooth operation in the harshest environments, minimising operating and maintenance costs.

Our customised turnkey solutions provide end-to-end systems, from check-in to baggage make-up and arrivals systems:

  • Check-in conveyors
  • Transport conveyors
  • Merge conveyors
  • Hold baggage screening
  • Crescent pallet carousels
  • Overlapping slat carousels
  • Inclined carousels

Hold baggage screening

Increasing demands for airport security have seen the implementation of in-line screening systems. Ansir Systems has successfully integrated its baggage-handling systems with many of the leading explosive detection system (EDS) suppliers. Many of the EDS machines have been retrofitted to existing baggage-handling systems.

Ansir Systems understands the importance of maintaining baggage-handling operations and works closely with its clients to minimise interruptions during system upgrades.

Baggage-handling system design

Ansir Systems provides its customers with a complete service, from system concept and design to supply, installation, commissioning, training and ongoing operational and maintenance support.

Our experienced engineers develop three-dimensional conveyor system drawings to determine the optimal layouts within the available area in the terminal building.

Baggage-handling system automation

System automation is a key element in the overall acceptance of a baggage handling system. Ansir Systems liaises in detail with our clients to ensure systems operate and perform to client expectations.

Control systems, motor control centres, SCADA and PLC software for the control of the baggage handling systems is designed and commissioned by in-house engineers. This gives the customer a single point-of-contact for the design, installation and commissioning of the entire baggage-handling system.

Ansir Systems has completed projects worldwide, including in:
