GOAA opens Terminal C at MCO
Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has opened Terminal C at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida, US.
The new terminal will allow the airport to handle a further 10 to 12 million passengers per annum, expanding its total annual capacity to almost 60 million passengers.
Entailing an investment of $2.8bn, the terminal covers an area of 167,225m².
Currently, the terminal has 15 gates and incorporates various environmentally friendly elements.
GOAA CEO Kevin Thibault said: “We celebrate Terminal C’s opening at a time when our passenger volume is returning to pre-pandemic levels."

Bombardier to open new service facility at AUH
Canadian business jet manufacturer Bombardier has broken ground on its new service centre at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in the UAE.
Bombardier ’s new maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility will cover nearly 100,000ft², offering services for all Bombardier business aeroplanes, operator Abu Dhabi Airports noted.
Abu Dhabi Airports managing director and CEO Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri said: “Abu Dhabi Airports is pleased to welcome Bombardier to Abu Dhabi and the UAE, home to its first full-service facility in the UAE.
